Your data stays on your device
Family Signals stores your family tree and transgenerational observations locally in your browser (IndexedDB). No account is required and, in this release, no data is transmitted to a server.
Sensitive information
Transgenerational Mode can record health and psychological observations about family members. Treat this as sensitive personal data. Where observations concern other people, ensure you have an appropriate basis for recording them.
Deleting your data
Clearing your browser's site data for familysignals.com removes everything permanently. Export first if you want to keep a copy.
